Aston Martin Unveils Exclusive DB12 S Series and Vanquish 25 Special Edition at Monterey Car Week

Aston Martin is taking a leading role at the 2026 Monterey Car Week, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance. The brand's major highlight is the debut of a trio of exclusive special edition models curated by the bespoke service Q by Aston Martin.

The DB12 S "VMF" Trio: Honoring the 1951 Racing Heritage

The inspiration for the three unique DB12 S coupes comes from the 1951 Aston Martin Team race cars that competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and bore British registration plates with the letters "VMF". The original cars featured their own unique colored grilles. The new Q by Aston Martin collection includes three vehicles referencing these historical prototypes:

• VMF 63 features Rosso Red color accents.
• VMF 64 wears Speed Yellow detailing.
• VMF 65 boasts Ellwood Blue highlights.

Exterior features of the VMF series:

• The cars' exterior is finished in a Carbon Black base paint.
• The grille vanes are painted.
• The front fenders display '75' roundel graphics along with painted carbon fiber side strakes.
• A painted carbon fiber Aeroblade and a DB2 foil overlay at the rear complete the exterior revisions.

Interior:

• Aston Martin wings with color-coordinated contrast stitching are added.
• Subtle DB2 silhouette embroidery is featured on the front seatbacks.
• '75' roundel graphics are present on the rear seatbacks.
• The painted start/stop rotary and painted paddle shifter tips match the theme.
• Bespoke '75' sill plaques referencing the DB2 inspiration complete the look.

Vanquish 25 Special Edition and Key Brand Events

Alongside the DB12 S trio, the company introduced an exciting newcomer celebrating Aston Martin's storied heritage—the Vanquish 25 Special Edition, created by the Q team to mark the 25th anniversary of the original V12 Vanquish. The model combines details from the original's launch specification with exquisite handcrafted techniques.

Aston Martin's program in Monterey also includes:

• The House of Aston Martin: Situated in a location adjacent to the Poppy Hills Golf Course, it offers guests an exclusive retreat to specify their next new Aston Martin, supported by key luxury partners such as Bollinger, Bowers & Wilkins, Breitling, Glenfiddich, and Elemis. It also features a display of the Valhalla supercar, new performance-focused 'S' models (DB12 S, Vantage S, DBX S), and an exceptional DB2 heritage model.
• Astons On The Avenue: A spectacular display of classic and modern Aston Martins on Ocean Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea on Wednesday, 12 August, created in conjunction with the Aston Martin Owners Club while supporting the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF).
• The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering: A headline event on Friday, 14 August, at The Quail Lodge & Golf Club, bringing together collectors, designers, and enthusiasts in an exclusive atmosphere featuring a world-class collection of rare and supercar displays.
